Chi Bo San Zhen (7 Steps 3 Battles)
San Chin which in Chinese is San Zhan or Three Battles is a cornerstone of Karate practice. It is found in Wing Chun White Crane in abundance.
(The Wing Chun here refers to a location in F ukien from which this style orginates, not the famous and somewhat similar fighting style known as Wing Chun.) Here is the foundational form of the system with its obvious similarities to Karate. After the breakdown there is also some two person applications and a Survey of other Forms of the Style.

Zou Ma Hui Bian (Horse Leading Rods (Sai))
The "Sai" is a weapon often associated with Okinawan martial arts. Here is the precursor, the same weapon used in essentially the same way. This set has many classic positions associated with this usage such as the half dragon-drop with one knee down. Flipping of the weapons is not excessive and the strikes utilized the interaction of both arms. A good example of the original structure of these forms.

Wong Fei Hung Ecclectic Style
This branch of Southern Fists claims lineage from the famous Chinese folk hero Wong Fai Hung (1847-1924). Son of Wong Kai-Ying,
one of Canton's "Ten Tigers", who himself had studied from Shaolin master and monk Luk Ah-Choy. Wong's own Southern Shaolin
is captured in his Hung Fist, a varied style with deep horse stances and mixed arm motions some of which could be considered
Southern Long Fist. A prominent feature is the verbalization of different sounds as an active ingredient of Hei Kung training.This Style
composes of Hung Gar, Wing Chun, Fut Gar(Buddha Style) and Lung Ying Pai(Southern Dragon Style).

Hard Gate Boxing (Ying Men Ch'uan) is a rare martial art practiced only in Jiangxi Province. In its original form it was called Yi He Quan -
the style originally practiced by the members of Yi He Tuan, secret society which participated in Boxers Rebellion in 1899. During Qing
Dynasty the style was transmitted to Jiangxi from Guangdong Province and became one of the three most famous styles there. It is an
